Check out the the following email from Mr. Zuercher. I will see you all on Monday. Stay warm and dry.

Hello PE folks,
Dave and Paula, the owners of Custom Bodies Fitness (the gym I go to), are involved this year with the Wounded Warriors project, which helps wounded veterans regain an active lifestyle mainly after amputations. They are working this year with the Irvine Police Department to put on a charity event in May called “Pushups for Charity”. Anyone is welcome to participate, and the main way it works is each person is challenged to do as many pushups as he/she can in 90 seconds. Before the event participants are encouraged to get pledges from family, friends, etc. to give a certain amount per pushup ($0.25. $1, etc). Last year they held the event at the gym, but I was unable to participate because I had just separated my shoulder. This year I plan on forming a team with my hockey kids as our philanthropic event for the spring season. I wanted to let you guys know in case you were interested in forming a school team and getting more kids involved. Here is the web site with more information in case you are interested.
