6 Foundational Exercises

Hello 7th graders and welcome back 8th graders. I want to introduce you to 6 exercises or movements based on the Primal Pattern Movements that you will be doing on Fitness Thursdays this year in PE. Practice these movements at home, in front of a mirror, or at your local park/school and try to focus on good technique. We will also practice these movements in class during the first 6 weeks of school. This will get you prepared for harder movements and exercises we will do later in the year.

DO NOT FREAK OUT IF YOU CANNOT DO THESE MOVEMENTS. YOU ARE NOT ALONE BELIEVE ME. WE WILL PRACTICE IN CLASS AND YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL.

3-Modified/Push-Up
